Chilli, Lime, Honey & Thyme Nuts

Tangy, spicy, sweet and salty - these nuts have it all. They're one of my favourite go to snacks when I need a little energy boost. I’m often found with a small pot of these in my handbag for when hunger hits!

2 1/2 cups pecans and walnuts

3 tbs honey

3 tbs macadamia oil or coconut oil

2 tbs sesame seeds

3/4 tbs chilli flakes

2 limes

1 tsp sea salt

2 tbs thyme leaves


Pre heat oven to 180C

In a mixing bowl, grate in about a teaspoon of lime rind then squeeze in both the limes. Place all the other ingredients, except the nuts, into the bowl and stir.

Add the nuts then toss everything really well to make sure they are fully coated.

Transfer them to a tray lined with baking paper and cook for 15 minutes.

Take them out of the oven and let them cool completely before eating.
