Fig and Hazlenut Smoothie

Two of my absolute favourite things, figs and hazelnuts, combined in one delicious drink. A beautifully thick smoothie that'll keep you going, it’s loaded with heart-healthy fats and vitamins to make your hair and skin beautiful and minerals to help keep your immune system healthy.

Ingredients

1/2 cup hazlenuts, soaked overnight
1 cup filtered water
1 fresh fig
4 dried figs
1/2 frozen banana
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1 pinch sea salt

Method

Blend the water and nuts for 1 minute.

Strain the liquid over a bowl through a nut milk bag or muslin.

Pour the hazelnut milk back into the blender and add all the other ingredients.

Blend until smooth.
