French Toast

French toast is such a treat isn't it? We don’t really have it often so when we do we like to do it properly! I’ve topped this with toasted sunflower seeds, blueberries, pomegranate, raspberries mint leaves, desiccated coconut and of course a good drizzle of maple syrup. Although these things are highly recommended,  you can use whatever you like. The carrot and cumin loaf is a must though - it takes french toast to the next level! Plus you’ll have leftover bread to make the app’s incredible chicken sandwich. Win win.

Ingredients

2 Eggs 

3 slices carrot and cumin loaf, see snacks on app

1 pinch sea salt

1 tbs macadamia or coconut oil

Method

Heat the oil in a frying pan.

Whisk the eggs in a bowl with the salt then dip the bread into the mixture. Place the slices of bread in the frying pan and cook for 2 minutes on each side.

Top with whatever you fancy and serve.
